Hi! My name is Cindy and I am super excited that you are here. I cannot wait to meet you and your kiddos! I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in the state of Michigan.  I received my BS (1994) and MA from Michigan State University (1996). After graduation I worked in the public schools in Dallas, TX and in Early Intervention in Boston, MA. When our first child was born I left my paid job and stayed home for 16 years to raise our two children, who are now both in college.  As my kids got older, I moved on from volunteering in the school library and making crafts and brownies for classroom parties to helping out in the high school clinic and school store. However, I was no longer pouring into little ones or helping them grow and learn and develop, and I missed it so much!  I returned to the public schools 4 years ago and working with children once again brought me so much joy. I am now providing private speech-language therapy to preschool and school-age children. My background of experience is 10+ years with children that have presented a variety of communication delays and disorders, including Articulation, Apraxia of Speech, Fluency, Phonological Processing,  Receptive Language, and Expressive Language. I absolutely love kids and I consider it a privilege to equip them with the skills that they need to become successful communicators. I also love working alongside parents to encourage them with a toolbox of ideas for reinforcement and success at home.
